Dierker’s Champs Baseball Camp 2017 brought together dozens of underserved youth for a week of skill-building, mentorship, and excitement on the field. Hosted in partnership with local coaches and volunteers, the camp honored the legacy of former Houston Astros manager Larry Dierker, inspiring the next generation through sports.Participants received hands-on training in batting, pitching, and teamwork—while also gaining valuable lessons in leadership, discipline, and confidence. For many kids, it was their first experience on a real baseball field, and their smiles said it all.From warm-ups and drills to friendly games and award ceremonies, the camp created lifelong memories and lasting friendships. Dierker’s Champs Baseball Camp remains one of our most impactful youth programs, proving that sports can empower and unite communities.
